My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard!

When I think of summer, I think of ice cream.

Okay. LIES.

I think of ice cream a lot more than that. I associate ice cream to anything I can. Summer is just one of the things.

Because I try to link it to whatever I can, it naturally makes sense that I like to eat it, with… well… everything. Including cookies and booze.

Ice cream, cookies and booze. Sigh. Three of lifes greatest inventions.

So! Why not combine all of the above and drink the sh*t out of it?

I don’t mind if I do. You should do the same.

In fact, I highly recommend it. Besides, it’s Friday! And summer! And for petes sake, it includes ice cream. How many reasons do you really need? I also recommend singing that, “my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard” song while blending. And serving. And then probably while you are drinking it, too. If you want to punch me in the face after cause that song is actually really awful, and it’s now stuck in your head, well… I will not hold that against you.

Cookie Kahlua Milkshake

(Makes two wonderful milkshakes)

2 cups coffee ice cream

1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk if that’s how you roll)

½ cup Kahlua (or if you are like my mother, MORE. And unmeasured. Lol)

2 teaspoons Vanilla extract

2 large chocolate chip cookies

about 6 ice cubes

Blend it up and serve! You can crumble a little more cookie on the top, just before handing this amazing shake over to someone that you obviously care a lot about…  Who ever you share it with will love you forever for it. Promise. It’s that freaking delicious.

Side noteI pretty much cried tears of happiness when I found this recipe online… what a great day that was. You’re welcome. 😉

I drank this last night. It was amazing balls.
