Day 7 of 30! Moving right along, eh?
So, in this first week, I have been grateful for my doggy Danger, my sticky inspirational notes, a clothing company in my community, the veterans who have served my country, memories of my late BFF and peanut butter!
Talk about variety, there.
Well, I am trying to mix it up. Obviously the posts about being grateful for friends, family and health are coming. I just didn’t want to share all the “givens” at the beginning.
The significance of the gratefuls will continue to vary, and at this time, I would just like to extend a thank you to YOU for reading so far, thru the big and the small posts. Whether you are reading about my BFF who I lost to cancer or about my love for peanut butter, I just have to say I appreciate the time you are spending reading these posts and am loving that you are along for my journey!
Okay, so let’s get to day seven, shall we!?
Today, I am sharing my gratitude for the fact that every night when I lay down to sleep, no matter where in the world I may be (I doooooo tend to travel quite a lot!) that I have a safe place to rest.
I think this may be one of those big ones, that we tend to forget the significance of.
Every night that I go to bed, whether I’m tipsy from drinking, exhausted from training, tired from being lazy or beat tired from being on the constant go… every night that I lay down, I am safe. Not to mention, warm, peaceful, well-fed and likely, happy.
And for that, I am truly grateful.
I’m wishing you the same… and of course, sending love, hugs and buttslaps…
