Day 18 of the Grateful project is a little shout out sharing the fact that I have the time to train MMA, as much as I do.
I know a lot of people who compete in MMA have multiple commitments in their lives that keep them from training full time or even as much during the week as they would like… whether it be work, money, family, time… life happens. You work with the hand you have been dealt.
I, however, am super blessed… as I am able to train full time. I always get asked how I “do it.” I just do. I give up some things, in order to get other things, not to mention I have a super strong support system around me. I really consider myself so lucky, when I think of this blessing.
I love what I do. And I have some big goals in regards to what I do. But don’t get kid yourself, training twice a day is hard. Training MMA full time is hard. It’s physically and mentally draining. But I really do love it. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
