Holidays 2012: Twelve days of Kindness, part 1

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to meeeeeeee…

You know that Christmas song? Gawd, you do not want to hear me sing it. That would be a great form of punishment, and I’m guessing that you have been a good kiddo this year, and not naughty (although naughty isn’t always so bad!) soooo I will save the punishment by NOT continuing any further with that song.

But, now that I have you thinking of that song, The 12 Days of Christmas, I would like to apologize and carry on to my little spin off of it.

12 days of Christmas for ME this year is actually the 12 days of Kindness.

It’s pretty much exactly what you think. 12 days of kindness. Just random (or pre-planned) acts of kindness. At least one a day.

I thought I would share with you guys, what I have done so far.

Day 1: I gave my friend flowers :)

Day 2: I plugged the parking meters downtown.

Day 3: I took homemade christmas cards, wrote a little message in each and placed them on car windows parked at the grocery store and liquor store.

Day 4: I went to Tim Hortons for coffee and bought the order for the person behind me, too.

Cool beans.

The first four days! Eight remaining. Stay tuned.

Sending love, hugs and butt slaps…
